Glover Teixeira (33-9, 26) was born in Sobrália, Minas Gerais, Brazil on October 28, 1979. At the age of 22 years on June 7, 2002, he made his professional MMA debut against Eric Schwartz, losing the fight via 2nd-round TKO.
