Dan Severn (101-19-7, 77) was born in Coldwater, Michigan, U.S. on June 9, 1958. At the age of 36 years on December 16, 1994, he made his professional MMA debut against Anthony Macias, winning the fight via 1st-round submission.
On December 16, 1994, 36-year old Dan Severn made his UFC debut on his 1st professional MMA fight at UFC 4 against a 25-year old Anthony Macias, winning the fight in the 1st round via submission.
He became the UFC champion on April 7, 1995 at age 36 on his 6th professional MMA fight at UFC 5 after defeating a 27-year old Dave Beneteau via 1st-round submission.
