      Zora Folley was an American professional boxer. He was born in Dallas, Texas, U.S. on May 27, 1931. Folley died on July 7, 1972 at the age of 41 years. His professional boxing career spanned more than 17 years — from 1953 to 1970.

      Folley made his professional boxing debut against Jimmy Ingram at the age of 22 on September 22, 1953, defeating Ingram via 4 round PTS.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 35 on March 22, 1967 after 85 professional fights, against Muhammad Ali for the WBA and WBC titles. He lost to Ali via 7th round KO.

      Folley had a total of 11 losses in his professional boxing career.

      His last professional fight was a non-title bout against Mac Foster at 39 years of age, on September 29, 1970. Folley lost the fight via 1st round KO.
