Fabrice Tiozzo (48-2, 32) was born in St. Denis, France on May 8, 1969. At the age of 19 years on November 10, 1988, he made his professional boxing debut against Dionisio Del Valle, winning the fight via 4-round points decision.
On his 26th career fight at 23 years old, Fabrice Tiozzo got a shot at the WBA light-heavyweight titles against Virgil Hill on April 3, 1993 but lost the fight via 12-round split decision.
He became a light-heavyweight world champion (WBC) on June 16, 1995 at the age of 26 years old, on his 33rd career fight, after defeating Mike McCallum via 12-round unanimous decision.
He then went on to become world champion at the cruiserweight weight class as well, winning the WBA title against Nate Miller via 12-round unanimous decision on November 8, 1997.
Tiozzo's last fight was a 5th-round KO win against Henry Saenz at age 37 on July 15, 2006. He retired with a 6-fight winning streak.
