On April 3, 1993 Fabrice Tiozzo fought Virgil Hill in a light-heavyweight world-title fight for Hill's WBA title. Tiozzo was 23 years old and with a record of 25-1 (15), and Hill was 29 years old and with a record of 34-1 (19). Tiozzo lost the fight via 12-round split decision.
