On March 17, 2018 Danny Henry faced off against Hakeem Dawodu in a lightweight bout at age 29. He was coming in with a record of 12-2 (9), and Dawodu was 26 years old and with a record of 7-0-1 (6). Henry stopped Hakeem Dawodu via choke-out.
