Wilfredo Vázquez Jr. (26-7-1, 20) was born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on June 18, 1984. At the age of 22 years on December 8, 2006, he made his professional boxing debut against Octavius Davis, winning the fight via 1st-round KO.
On his 19th career fight at 25 years old, Vázquez Jr. became a super-bantamweight world champion on February 27, 2010 after defeating Marvin Sonsona via 4th-round KO to win the vacant WBO title.
Vázquez Jr.'s last fight was a 6-round unanimous decision win against Dunis Linan at age 36 on May 15, 2021. He retired with a 2-fight winning streak.
