Seiya Tsutsumi (12-0-3, 8) was born in Kumamoto, Japan on December 24, 1995. At the age of 22 years on March 27, 2018, he made his professional boxing debut against Alongkon Kaisi, winning the fight via 1st-round KO.
On his 14th career fight at 28 years old, Tsutsumi became a bantamweight world champion on October 13, 2024 after defeating Takuma Inoue via 12-round unanimous decision to win the WBA title.
