Mickey Bey (23-3-1, 11) was born in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S. on June 27, 1983. At the age of 21 years on April 29, 2005, he made his professional boxing debut against Shane Gierke, winning the fight via 1st-round KO.
On his 24th career fight at 31 years old, Bey became a lightweight world champion on September 13, 2014 after defeating Miguel Vázquez via 12-round split decision to win the IBF title.
Bey's last fight was a 10-round split decision loss to George Kambosos Jr. at age 36 on December 14, 2019. He retired from the sport of boxing following this loss.
