Janibek Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12) was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan on April 1, 1993. At the age of 23 years on October 29, 2016, he made his professional boxing debut against Milton NĂșñez, winning the fight via 1st-round TKO.
Alimkhanuly was elevated as the WBO middleweight world champion at the age of 29 years and had his first title defense fight against Denzel Bentley on November 12, 2022. He successfully defended the title, winning the fight via 12-round unanimous decision.
Alimkhanuly's last fight was a middleweight (IBF, WBO) world-title defense against Anauel Ngamissengue on April 5, 2025. He stopped Ngamissengue via TKO in the 5th round, successfully defending the titles. He is currently undefeated and is on a 17-fight winning streak.
