Kenshiro Teraji (25-1, 16) was born in Jōyō, Kyoto, Japan on January 6, 1992. At the age of 22 years on August 3, 2014, he made his professional boxing debut against Heri Amol, winning the fight via 6-round unanimous decision.
On his 10th career fight at 25 years old, Teraji became a light-flyweight world champion on May 20, 2017 after defeating Ganigan López via 12-round majority decision to win the WBC title.
He then went on to become world champion at the flyweight weight class as well, winning the WBC and WBA titles against Masamichi Yabuki via 3rd-round KO on March 19, 2022.
Teraji's last fight was a flyweight world-title unification fight against Seigo Yuri Akui on March 13, 2025. He stopped Akui via TKO in the 12th round, winning the WBA title and successfully defending the WBC title. He is on a 7-fight winning streak.
