Kume stopped Kazuki Tokudome via 1st-round KO and successfully defended his title.
On September 11, 2016 Takasuke Kume fought Kazuki Tokudome in a lightweight title fight for Tokudome's Pancrase Championship title. Kume was 31 years old and with a record of 19-4-4 (13), and Tokudome was 29 years old and with a record of 16-6-1 (12).
