Otsuka won the fight via 3-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new DEEP featherweight champion.
On April 29, 2014 Takafumi Otsuka fought Kenji Osawa in a bantamweight title fight for the DEEP Championship title. Otsuka was 27 years old and with a record of 17-12-1 (5), and Osawa was 37 years old and with a record of 20-10-2 (6). Otsuka won the fight via 3-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new DEEP bantamweight champion.
