Otsuka was 23 years old and with a record of 9-4-1 (5), and Mishima was 37 years old and with a record of 20-6-2 (11). Otsuka won the fight via 3-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new DEEP featherweight champion.
On June 24, 2011 Takafumi Otsuka fought Hiroshi Nakamura in a bantamweight title fight for the DEEP Championship title. Otsuka was 24 years old and with a record of 12-8-1 (5), and Nakamura was 30 years old and with a record of 12-4-4 (2). Otsuka won the fight via 3-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new DEEP bantamweight champion.
