On March 5, 2016 Miesha Tate fought Holly Holm in a bantamweight title fight for Holm's UFC Women's Championship title. Tate was 29 years old and with a record of 18-5 (9), and Holm was 34 years old and with a record of 10-0 (7). Tate stopped Holly Holm via 5th-round choke-out and is crowned the new UFC bantamweight champion.
