On March 17, 2018 Magomed Ankalaev faced off against Paul Craig in a light-heavyweight bout at age 25. He was coming in with a record of 8-1 (4), and Craig was 30 years old and with a record of 9-2 (9). Ankalaev lost the fight via 3rd-round submission.
