On October 27, 2017 Lara Procópio faced off against Mayra Cantuária in a bantamweight bout at age 21. She was coming in with a record of 4-0 (3). Procópio stopped Mayra Cantuária via submission.
On August 24, 2018 Lara Procópio fought Sidy Rocha in a flyweight title fight for the Shooto Brazil Women's Championship title. Procópio was 22 years old and with a record of 6-0 (3). Procópio won the fight via 3-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new flyweight world champion.
