On December 10, 2011 Greg Soto fought Chip Moraza-Pollard in a welterweight title fight for Moraza-Pollard's CFFC Championship title. Soto was 25 years old and with a record of 9-2 (6). Soto stopped Chip Moraza-Pollard via 2nd-round submission and is crowned the new welterweight world champion.
