On April 26, 2013 Daiki Hata fought Yoshiro Maeda in a bantamweight title fight for Maeda's DEEP Championship title. Hata was 30 years old and with a record of 16-9-7 (10), and Maeda was 31 years old and with a record of 30-12-2 (19). Hata stopped Yoshiro Maeda via 2nd-round TKO and is crowned the new DEEP bantamweight champion.
