      Subriel Matías (Browny) is a 32-year old Puerto Rican professional boxer. He was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on March 31, 1992. He is the current IBF super-lightweight champion.

      Matías made his professional boxing debut against Juan Rojas at the age of 23 on December 19, 2015, defeating Rojas via 1st round TKO. He went on to win 14 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 14 wins via stoppage.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 30 on February 25, 2023 after 18 professional fights, against Jeremias Ponce for the super-lightweight IBF (vacant) title. He defeated Ponce via 5th round RTD to become the super-lightweight champion of the world.
