      Sharmba Mitchell (Little Big Man) is a 53-year old retired American professional boxer. He was born in Takoma Park, Maryland, U.S. on August 27, 1970. He is a former super-lightweight world champion. His professional boxing career spanned more than 17 years — from 1988 to 2006.

      Mitchell made his professional boxing debut against Eddie Colon at the age of 18 on September 23, 1988, defeating Colon via 3rd round TKO. He went on to win 30 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 17 wins via stoppage.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 28 on October 10, 1998 after 44 professional fights, against Khalid Rahilou for the super-lightweight WBA title. He defeated Rahilou via 12 round unanimous decision to become the super-lightweight champion of the world.
