      Mario Miranda (Martillo) is a 64-year old retired Colombian professional boxer. He was born in Barranquilla, Colombia on May 15, 1959. He retired without winning a major world title. His professional boxing career spanned more than 24 years — from 1979 to 2004.

      Miranda made his professional boxing debut against Edelmiro Cassiani at the age of 20 on June 9, 1979, defeating Cassiani via 6 round PTS. He went on to win 18 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 13 wins via stoppage.
