      Hiroyuki Ebihara was a Japanese professional boxer. He was born in Fussa, Tokyo, Japan on March 26, 1940. He was a flyweight world champion. Ebihara died on April 20, 1991 at the age of 51 years. His professional boxing career spanned more than 10 years — from 1959 to 1969.

      Ebihara made his professional boxing debut against Kazuhiko Kurihara at the age of 19 on September 20, 1959, defeating Kurihara via 4th round KO. He went on to win 8 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 3 wins via stoppage.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 23 on September 18, 1963 after 38 professional fights, against Pone Kingpetch for the flyweight WBA, WBC, and The Ring titles. He defeated Kingpetch via 1st round KO to become the flyweight champion of the world.
