Lewis won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and successfully defended his titles.
On May 8, 1993 Lennox Lewis met Tony Tucker in a heavyweight (WBC) world-title defense fight. Lewis was 27 years old and with a record of 23-0 (19), and Tucker was 34 years old and with a record of 48-1 (39). Lewis won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and successfully defended his title.
