On December 31, 2018 Hiroto Kyoguchi fought Hekkie Budler in a light-flyweight world-title fight for Budler's WBA (Super) and The Ring titles. Kyoguchi was 25 years old and with a record of 12-0 (9), and Budler was 30 years old and with a record of 32-3 (10). Kyoguchi stopped Hekkie Budler via 10th-round TKO and is crowned the new light-flyweight world champion.
On June 10, 2022 Hiroto Kyoguchi met Esteban Bermudez in a light-flyweight (WBA (Super) and The Ring) world-title defense fight. Kyoguchi was 28 years old and with a record of 16-0 (11), and Bermudez was 26 years old and with a record of 14-3-2 (10). Kyoguchi stopped Esteban Bermudez via 8th-round TKO and successfully defended his titles.
On May 20, 2023 Hiroto Kyoguchi faced off against Roland Jay Biendima in a flyweight bout at age 29. He was coming in with a record of 17-1 (11), and Biendima was 27 years old and with a record of 17-13-1 (10). Kyoguchi won the fight via 10-round unanimous decision.
