Hiroto Kyoguchi (19-3, 12) was born in Izumi, Osaka, Japan on November 27, 1993. At the age of 22 years on April 17, 2016, he made his professional boxing debut against Narathip Sungsut, winning the fight via 2nd-round KO.
On his 8th career fight at 23 years old, Kyoguchi became a strawweight world champion on July 23, 2017 after defeating Jose Argumedo via 12-round unanimous decision to win the IBF title.
He then went on to become world champion at the light-flyweight weight class as well, winning the WBA and The Ring titles against Hekkie Budler via 10th-round TKO on December 31, 2018.
Kyoguchi's last fight was a flyweight world-title fight against Anthony Olascuaga for Olascuaga's WBO title on March 13, 2025. He lost the fight via 12-round unanimous decision. He is on a 1-fight losing streak.
