Erick Rosa (8-0, 2) was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on March 18, 2000. At the age of 20 years on October 24, 2020, he made his professional boxing debut against Oscar Bermudez Salas, winning the fight via 10-round unanimous decision.
On his 5th career fight at 21 years old, Rosa became a strawweight world champion on December 21, 2021 after defeating Vic Saludar via 12-round split decision to win the WBA (Regular) title.
