Boxing Career
Erick Rosa was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on March 18, 2000. He made his professional debut at the age of 20 years on October 24, 2020 against Oscar Bermudez Salas. Rosa defeated Salas via 10-round unanimous decision, making a successful beginning of his pro career.
Rosa became a world champion at the age of 21 after 4 professional fights. He challenged Vic Saludar for the WBA (Regular) strawweight title and defeated the champion via 12-round split decision, winning his first world title.
He then went on to successfully win the light-flyweight (WBA) titles also to become a two-division world champion.
Rosa's latest fight was a unanimous decision victory over Neider Valdez Aguilar at age 24, on December 19, 2024, in which he won the WBA light-flyweight world title.
