On August 1, 2013 Tomoki Kameda fought Paulus Ambunda in a bantamweight world-title fight for Ambunda's WBO title. Kameda was 22 years old and with a record of 28-0 (18), and Ambunda was 32 years old and with a record of 20-0 (10). Kameda won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new bantamweight world champion.
On August 28, 2010 Tomoki Kameda faced off against Stephane Jamoye in a bantamweight bout at age 19. He was coming in with a record of 16-0 (11), and Jamoye was 20 years old and with a record of 18-0 (8). Kameda won the fight via 10-round split decision.
On July 12, 2014 Tomoki Kameda met Pungluang Sor Singyu in a bantamweight (WBO) world-title defense fight. Kameda was 23 years old and with a record of 30-0 (19), and Singyu was 25 years old and with a record of 46-2 (31). Kameda stopped Pungluang Sor Singyu via 7th-round TKO and successfully defended his title.
