On June 15, 2019 Tom Schwarz defended his WBO InterContinental heavyweight title against Tyson Fury. Schwarz was 25 years old with a record of 24-0, and Fury was 30 with a record of 27-0-1. Schwarz was on an undefeated 24-fight winning streak. Fury stopped Schwarz via TKO in the 2nd round. Lost the title.
