On November 7, 2024 Petro Ivanov fought Osleys Iglesias for the IBO super middleweight title. Ivanov was 28 years old with a record of 18-0-2, and Iglesias was 26 with a record of 12-0. Ivanov was on an undefeated 9-fight winning streak and Iglesias was on an undefeated 12-fight winning streak. Iglesias stopped Ivanov via TKO in the 5th round. Failed to capture the title.
