Salido stopped Juan Manuel López via 8th-round TKO and is crowned the new featherweight world champion.

Salido was 33 years old and with a record of 39-11-2 (27), and López was 28 years old and with a record of 31-1 (28). Salido stopped Juan Manuel López via 10th-round TKO and successfully defended his title.
