On December 13, 2025 Noel Gevor fought Badou Jack in a cruiserweight world-title fight for Jack's WBC title. Gevor was 35 years old and with a record of 28-3 (12), and Jack was 42 years old and with a record of 29-3-3 (17). Gevor won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new cruiserweight world champion.
On November 4, 2023 Noel Gevor fought Ilunga Makabu in a cruiserweight world-title fight for the WBC title. Gevor was 33 years old and with a record of 27-2 (12), and Makabu was 35 years old and with a record of 29-3 (25). Gevor stopped Ilunga Makabu via 3rd-round TKO and is crowned the new cruiserweight world champion.
