      Antoine Byrd (T-Byrd) is a 61-year old retired American professional boxer. He was born in Pomona, California, U.S. on October 27, 1962. He retired without winning a major world title. His professional boxing career spanned more than 12 years — from 1986 to 1998.

      Byrd made his professional boxing debut against Ruben Blackwell at the age of 23 on February 10, 1986, defeating Blackwell via 4 round unanimous decision.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 28 on March 7, 1991 after 21 professional fights, against Lindell Holmes for the IBF title. He lost to Holmes via 12 round split decision.
