      Ultiminio Ramos Zaqueira (Sugar) was a Mexican professional boxer. He was born in Matanzas, Cuba on December 2, 1941. He was a featherweight world champion. He died on September 3, 2017 at the age of 75 years. Ramos was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) in 2001. His professional boxing career spanned more than 14 years — from 1957 to 1972.

      Ramos made his professional boxing debut against Rene Arce at the age of 15 on October 5, 1957, defeating Arce via 2nd round TKO. He went on to win 17 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 14 wins via stoppage.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 21 on March 21, 1963 after 42 professional fights, against Davey S. Moore for the featherweight WBA, WBC, and The Ring titles. He defeated Moore via 10th round RTD to become the featherweight champion of the world.
