Rick Lockridge (Rocky) was an American professional boxer. He was born in Tacoma, Washington, U.S. on January 10, 1959. He was a super-featherweight world champion. Lockridge died on February 7, 2019 at the age of 60 years. His professional boxing career spanned more than 13 years — from 1978 to 1992.
Lockridge made his professional boxing debut against Tony Reed at the age of 19 on August 9, 1978, defeating Reed via 2nd round TKO. He went on to win 15 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 13 wins via stoppage.
He had his first world title fight at the age of 21 on October 4, 1980 after 16 professional fights, against Eusebio Pedroza for the WBA title. He lost to Pedroza via 15 round split decision.
