      Michael Katsidis (The Great) is a 43-year old retired Australian professional boxer. He was born in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia on August 15, 1980. He retired without winning a major world title. His professional boxing career spanned more than 15 years — from 2001 to 2017.

      Katsidis made his professional boxing debut against Danny Wilson at the age of 21 on December 1, 2001, defeating Wilson via 3rd round KO. He went on to win 22 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 19 wins via stoppage.
