On April 15, 1996 Vuyani Bungu met Pablo Osuna in a super-bantamweight (IBF) world-title defense fight. Bungu was 29 years old and with a record of 30-2 (18). Bungu stopped Pablo Osuna via 2nd-round TKO and successfully defended his title.
