On June 17, 2017 Tyron Zeuge met Paul Smith in a super-middleweight (WBA (Regular)) world-title defense fight. Zeuge was 25 years old and with a record of 21-0-1 (11), and Smith was 34 years old and with a record of 38-6 (22). Zeuge won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and successfully defended his title.
On November 5, 2016 Tyron Zeuge fought Giovanni De Carolis in a super-middleweight world-title fight for De Carolis' WBA (Regular) title. Zeuge was 24 years old and with a record of 19-0-1 (11), and De Carolis was 32 years old and with a record of 24-6-1 (12). Zeuge stopped Giovanni De Carolis via 12th-round TKO and is crowned the new super-middleweight world champion.
