On January 29, 2022 Trevor Bryan met Jonathan Guidry in a heavyweight (WBA (Regular)) world-title defense fight. Bryan was 32 years old and with a record of 22-0 (15), and Guidry was 32 years old and with a record of 17-0-2 (10). Bryan won the fight via 12-round split decision and successfully defended his title.
On August 11, 2018 Trevor Bryan fought BJ Flores in a heavyweight world-title fight for the WBA title. Bryan was 28 years old and with a record of 20-0 (14), and Flores was 39 years old and with a record of 34-3-1 (21). Bryan stopped BJ Flores via 4th-round TKO and is crowned the new heavyweight world champion.
