On September 27, 1946 Tony Zale met Rocky Graziano in a middleweight (The Ring) world-title defense fight. Zale was 33 years old and with a record of 58-16-2 (36), and Graziano was 27 years old and with a record of 43-6-5 (31). Zale stopped Rocky Graziano via 6th-round KO and successfully defended his title.
On June 10, 1948 Tony Zale fought Rocky Graziano in a middleweight world-title fight for Graziano's The Ring title. Zale was 35 years old and with a record of 67-17-2 (45), and Graziano was 29 years old and with a record of 47-7-5 (34). Zale stopped Rocky Graziano via 3rd-round KO and is crowned the new middleweight world champion.
On May 28, 1941 Tony Zale faced off against Al Hostak in a middleweight bout at age 27. He was coming in with a record of 48-15-2 (27). Zale stopped Al Hostak via KO.
