On May 1, 2015 Takashi Miura met Billy Dib in a super-featherweight (WBC) world-title defense fight. Miura was 30 years old and with a record of 29-2-2 (22), and Dib was 29 years old and with a record of 39-3 (23). Miura stopped Billy Dib via 3rd-round TKO and successfully defended his title.
On April 8, 2013 Takashi Miura fought Gamaliel Díaz in a super-featherweight world-title fight for Díaz' WBC title. Miura was 28 years old and with a record of 25-2-2 (19), and Díaz was 32 years old and with a record of 38-9-2 (18). Miura stopped Gamaliel Díaz via 9th-round TKO and is crowned the new super-featherweight world champion.
