On March 21, 1963 Sugar Ramos fought Davey S. Moore in a featherweight world-title fight for Moore's WBA, The Ring and WBC titles. Ramos was 21 years old and with a record of 39-1-3 (30), and Moore was 29 years old and with a record of 59-6-1 (30). Ramos stopped Davey S. Moore via 10th-round retirement and is crowned the new featherweight world champion.
