On March 2, 2012 Sonny Boy Jaro fought Pongsaklek Wonjongkam in a flyweight world-title fight for Wonjongkam's WBC and The Ring titles. Jaro was 29 years old and with a record of 34-10-5 (24), and Wonjongkam was 34 years old and with a record of 83-3-2 (43). Jaro stopped Pongsaklek Wonjongkam via 6th-round TKO and is crowned the new flyweight world champion.
On December 10, 2005 Sonny Boy Jaro faced off against Kengkart Sakpracha in a light-flyweight bout at age 23. He was coming in with a record of 20-4-3 (12). Jaro stopped Kengkart Sakpracha via KO.
