On June 26, 2004 Robin Reid faced off against Brian Magee in a super-middleweight bout at age 33. He was coming in with a record of 37-4-1 (27), and Magee was 29 years old and with a record of 22-0 (16). Reid won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision.
On September 11, 1997 Robin Reid met Hacine Cherifi in a super-middleweight (WBC) world-title defense fight. Reid was 26 years old and with a record of 25-0-1 (18), and Cherifi was 29 years old and with a record of 24-2-1 (17). Reid won the fight via 12-round split decision and successfully defended his title.
On October 12, 1996 Robin Reid fought Vincenzo Nardiello in a super-middleweight world-title fight for Nardiello's WBC title. Reid was 25 years old and with a record of 22-0-1 (17), and Nardiello was 30 years old and with a record of 30-5 (17). Reid stopped Vincenzo Nardiello via 7th-round TKO and is crowned the new super-middleweight world champion.
On December 8, 2000 Robin Reid faced off against Mike Gormley in a super-middleweight bout at age 29. He was coming in with a record of 27-3-1 (20). Reid stopped Mike Gormley via TKO.
