Wonjongkam won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and successfully defended his titles.
On March 27, 2010 Pongsaklek Wonjongkam fought Kōki Kameda in a flyweight world-title fight for the WBC and The Ring titles. Wonjongkam was 32 years old and with a record of 75-3-1 (38), and Kameda was 23 years old and with a record of 22-0 (14). Wonjongkam won the fight via 12-round majority decision and is crowned the new flyweight world champion.
