On January 12, 1963 Pone Kingpetch fought Fighting Harada in a flyweight world-title fight for Harada's WBA and The Ring titles. Kingpetch was 27 years old and with a record of 26-4 (8), and Harada was 19 years old and with a record of 27-1 (11). Kingpetch won the fight via 15-round majority decision and is crowned the new flyweight world champion.
On January 23, 1964 Pone Kingpetch fought Hiroyuki Ebihara in a flyweight world-title fight for Ebihara's WBA, WBC and The Ring titles. Kingpetch was 28 years old and with a record of 27-5 (8), and Ebihara was 23 years old and with a record of 38-1-1 (22). Kingpetch won the fight via 15-round split decision and is crowned the new flyweight world champion.
