On June 30, 1975 Muhammad Ali met Joe Bugner in a heavyweight (WBA, WBC and The Ring) world-title defense fight. Ali was 33 years old and with a record of 48-2 (34), and Bugner was 25 years old and with a record of 51-6-1 (31). Ali won the fight via 15-round unanimous decision and successfully defended his titles.
On February 6, 1967 Muhammad Ali, the WBC and The Ring champion, met Ernie Terrell, the WBA champion, in a heavyweight world-title unification fight. Ali was 25 years old and with a record of 28-0 (22), and Terrell was 27 years old and with a record of 39-4 (18).
