On September 17, 1999 Medgoen Singsurat fought Manny Pacquiao in a flyweight world-title fight for the WBC title. Singsurat was 21 years old and with a record of 19-0 (12), and Pacquiao was 20 years old and with a record of 26-1 (17). Singsurat stopped Manny Pacquiao via 3rd-round TKO and is crowned the new flyweight world champion.
