On March 8, 1971 Joe Frazier, the WBA and WBC champion, met Muhammad Ali, the The Ring champion, in a heavyweight world-title unification fight. Frazier was 27 years old and with a record of 27-0 (23), and Ali was 29 years old and with a record of 31-0 (25). Frazier won the fight via 15-round unanimous decision and and is crowned the unified WBA, WBC and The Ring champion.
On December 10, 1968 Joe Frazier faced off against Oscar Bonavena in a heavyweight bout at age 24. He was coming in with a record of 22-0 (19), and Bonavena was 26 years old and with a record of 38-4 (29). Frazier won the fight via 15-round unanimous decision.
On November 18, 1970 Joe Frazier met Bob Foster in a heavyweight (WBA and WBC) world-title defense fight.
