Corley won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and successfully defended his title.
On May 20, 2017 DeMarcus Corley faced off against Vivian Harris in a welterweight bout at age 42. He was coming in with a record of 49-28-1 (28), and Harris was 38 years old and with a record of 32-11-2 (19). Corley won the fight via 10-round unanimous decision.
